Harry Shum Jr Part4what I admire about him.

So I have done some posts about Harry Shum jr and I was talking to someone about him and they only knew him as the guy from glee. This man is so much more and I feel that this needs to change as he is such a talented and hard-working actor, I am focusing on Shadowhunters as I haven't had time to see much of his current projects.

However, he has done a lot for the Asian American community and even the wider community by doing virtual events and things to keep us amused during what was a painful time for a lot of people. I see that he is an amazing actor, and dancer, and quietly mentors people who are becoming up-and-coming actors and even people who are starting a second career in the arts.

The role that I think most people would know him for would be either Glee or Shadowhunters. He is an amazing dancer as well and his colleagues when he was filming Shadowhunter were terrified that they would have to dance with him. This is Matthew Daddario, but they were able to pull off an amazing sequence.

At the time of filming, Shadowhunter did respect the role and the weight of it as the character was a break-out trope of not being ashamed of who he is or his past, this won them awards for representation on screen and it is showing a generation what respect in a relationship looks like as it was a very real situation where there is an age difference and a power difference due to there positions, as characters.

He has admitted he is shy in reality however this is a strength of his, not a weakness and I see that some of his colleagues and friends see this as well, as he has never been caught in any Hollywood scandals, and this is a good thing some of his colleges has and his colleagues whatever project he is working on seems to respect him and his lifestyle, being able to have the balance of social media and privacy he seems to command respect from the press and the fans of what project he is in, this clip explains it well.
