NDIS Housing options

So in this video, I talk about different housing options and the basics of them under the NDIS this is a bit more of a breakdown of them, so we have a lot of jargon around them, however, they all have different levels of support attached to them. Depending on your level of function.
The most common one I am finding is SIL -whichs is supported by independent living, this is where the company owns the house, and the support workers are attached to the house andsleepoverr in the house.
Then we have Independent living options so this is where you have your own unit or house and have a drop in support very similar to the old community nursing systems.
Then we have SDA specialist disability accommodation so this is where you have purpose-built housing for people with high physical needs and the equipment is embedded in what you need to have in a way to live independently.
Then there are respite options so this is Short term accommodation this is essentially a respite service where they are living away from home to give the family or normal caregivers a break.
I hope to do a bit more of an in-depth post about it at a later date, as things are rapidly changing regarding the NDIS and housing.
